The Haida Gwaii Museum is seeking one post-secondary student for summer employment at the Haida Gwaii Museum’s Trading House (gift shop). The position runs May 15 through August 03, 2018 with possibility of extension through end of August. Wage is $16.00 per hour for 35 hours per week.
The successful candidate will be a dynamic, hard-working self-starter and with a demonstrated track record of excellence in interpersonal and organizational skills, retail/customer service, computer skills, written and spoken English language skills. The successful candidate must be physically able to lift and move heavy items.
THEY WILL HAVE:
This position is open to applicants between the ages of 15 and 30 who attended school full-time last year and intend to return to school full time next year. Applicants must be Canadian citizens or landed immigrants. All qualified applicants with disabilities, visible minorities are encouraged to apply for the position. Preference will be given to qualified individuals of Haida ancestry.
