Batik artist Vernal Bogren Swift has her work in the collections of the North Dakota Museum of Art, Minnesota, the Smithsonian American Art Museum and The Textile Museum in Washington, DC. She holds a Master of Fine Arts in textiles from the Cranbrook Academy of Art in Michigan. In this show – Stories and Dreams from the Prairies – she is presenting thirteen batiks from the collection of the North Dakota Museum of Art and five new works on paper.
